Volunteer Registration + T-Shirt
May 2, 2026 - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Downtown Yonkers Waterfront. T-shirts are available for purchase through Wednesday, 4/8 at midnight. If you purchase a t-shirt by registering, it will be distributed at your Sweep project location on Saturday, 5/2.

Join YONKERS PADDLING & ROWING CLUB and Riverkeeper for a cleanup at Downtown Yonkers Waterfront from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.
Volunteers will meet at Downtown Yonkers Waterfront in the park at 20 Water Grant Street Yonkers, NY, outside the Apex apartment buildings. The cleanup site is the park itself and the rocky area along the shoreline of the park. Parking in the immediate area is very limited with few spaces available on Water Grant Street. There is metered parking a few blocks to the north of the Sweep site along Pier Pointe Street, Buena Vista Ave, and Alexander Street. There is additional parking throughout the Getty Square area.
We recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. All cleanup materials will be provided for volunteers.
This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

*IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of volunteers, Sweep Site Leaders, professional staff, and our communities, we ask that volunteers adhere to the following guidelines:
- Volunteers are required to pre-register for Sweep.
- Volunteers should not participate if they have ANY signs of illness.
