Join Riverside Park Conservancy and Riverkeeper for a cleanup project at Riverside Park North, Ten Mile River Playground from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at Ten Mile River Playground. Put coordinates 40.82976786394766, -73.95291938220898 into GPS. Take the #1 train to 145th St, and walk to Riverside Drive at W 148th St. Take the stairs down across the train tracks, down another flight, and through the underpass. You will see Ten Mile River Playground ahead of you. Follow the pavement path on the left (south) side of the Playground until it intersects with another pavement path parallel to the Hudson River on the west border of the playground (behind the bathrooms). We will be under a yellow tent to your right!

We recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.
