DESCRIPTION: May 2, 2026, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm \n \n \nJoin FRIENDS OF WNYC TRANSMITTER PARK and Riverkeeper for a cleanup at WNYC Transmitter Park from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.\n \n \nVolunteers will meet at WNYC Transmitter Park at the terminus of Greenpoint Avenue at the East River. Please meet at the welcome table at the Greenpoint Avenue entrance. There is limited street parking. Nearby garages may be available.\n\n \n \nWe recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer.\n \nThis site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.\n \n \nQuestions?
