DESCRIPTION: May 2, 2026, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm\n\nJoin Newburgh Waterways Center, Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy, and Riverkeeper for a cleanup and invasive species removal project at Ward Brothers Memorial Park from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for the 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.\n \nVolunteers will meet at the waterfront pavilion in Ward Brothers Memorial Park at 2 River Street, Newburgh, NY.\n\nWe recommend all Sweep volunteers to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer as well as long sleeve clothing and layers.  \n\nThis site is suitable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.\n\nQuestions?
