Tell Governor Hochul: Protect NY drinking water from PFAS
The federal government is moving forward with its plan to roll back protections against toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” in drinking water that were created in 2024. With this move, millions of New Yorkers are being left exposed to harmful contaminants when they turn on the tap, putting their health at risk.
The New York State Legislature passed a bill to enact state regulations that will maintain strong limits on PFAS in drinking water and keep New York a national leader in tackling the PFAS crisis. Tell Governor Hochul to sign the bill into law and ensure every New Yorker has clean, safe water.
