The Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival is a community celebration that encourages Hudson River access and education. The festival's mission is to connect residents with the river today so we can all be part of its future. Our goal is to inspire river stewardship through history, art, safety education, story-telling, and fun, while also opening Kingsland Point Park's historic beach for the community to explore. Let's celebrate the magic and myth-making along the banks of Sleepy Hollow together.
A portion of every ticket to the Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival supports Riverkeeper. That contribution is tax-deductible and enrolls you as a Riverkeeper member, connecting you to Riverkeeper's work to protect and restore the Hudson River. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive occasional updates from Riverkeeper about this work and ways to stay involved.
Sleepy Hollow residents are eligible for two free advance tickets per household!

Important Note: Free resident admission must be claimed online in advance. If you do not secure your tickets ahead of time, standard admission fees will apply at the gate.

By participating, attendees acknowledge the inherent risks of festival activities, hold harmless the Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival organizers, partners, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, municipalities, property owners, and affiliates from related claims or liabilities, and consent to the use of event photos and video for promotional purposes.
